Although it was an icy winter night, Marietta Jemison and Elizabeth King were there to meet and chat with over 50 attorneys and paralegals from the DC Metro area who also braved the elements to attend. There were six panelists; all women whose pathways throughout their legal careers were long and twisty ones, but which provided tremendous experiences towards their present positions.

The event was held at the South Riding Golf Course in South Riding, Virginia and over 100 players were in attendance. If a golfer made a hole-in-one, the golfer and the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation would have both received $500,000. Unfortunately, no one made a hole-in-one, but they had a lot of fun trying!

Sponsored the 2nd Annual Trial Lawyers Open, a benefit golf tournament for the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation May 25, 2005. Capital Reporting Company sponsored a $1 Million Hole-In-One contest at the event. If a golfer had been lucky enough to make a hole-in-one (unfortunately no one was), Capital Reporting Company would have donated half a million dollars to the golfer and half a million to the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation. Capital Reporting Company also gave away a golf vacation and airline tickets for two at the event.

Capital Reporting Company also created a $10,000 challenge for the golfers, to make a hole-in-one. If a golfer had been so lucky (which none were), Capital would have donated $5,000 to the golfer and $5,000 to the Darrell Green Youth Life Foundation.
